It was my second match yesterday. Things went really bad, infact, awfull. I didn't opened the bowling attack, something that I was expecting. 2 spinners bowled the first spell. I bowled the 5th over of the match and conceded 22 runs. It included 4 fours and 1 six. One of the fours was an outside edge and the other was a misfield. The sixer was hit on a full toss. But the remaining 2 fours were good shots. I didin't bowled another over in the match a part from the last over which captain asked me to bowl to gain some confidence perheps. We had already won the match by then.
After the second match, I think I will not get any chance to play in the seniors team for a while. But anyway, there's a juniors match coming up tomorrow. Perhaps if I bowl an outstanding spell in that match, i might get a chance but the chances are too remote. The next seniors match is in 15 days. If I get a couple of juniors matches by then and i bowl well, perhaps there's a chance.
Personally, i am not concerned about getting place in seniors team. My main worry is bowling at my best. In yesterday's match, I was still too much worried about the no ball. I didn't bowled any but still I was looking at my feet rather than the batsman while bowling. I will try this week to eradicate this fault once and for all. Hope things go well.
