I played my 3rd match a couple of weeks back. The match went awful for me. It was a juniors match so I was automatically in the team and I was thinking that i would open the bowling but the first over was given to some spinner. The second over again spinner ! It seemed as if everything is going fine except that the captain has forgot that i am playing the match. I didn't bowled a single over in the match for some reason unknown. It was a useless disappointing day for me. After the match the coach asked the captain why he didn't bowled me and he said that he wanted to but the situation was really crucial. Go To Hell!
The very next day there was another juniors match. I went there a bit late. When i reached the ground the team was almost going on the ground. We were fielding first. Seeing me, the coach left one man out and included me in and told the captain to give me the new ball.
On the field, things went really weird. The captain summoned me and another fast bowler and asked him to bowl the first over. He said he'll bowl the next one and asked the captain to give the over to me. The captain then asked me and i told him to give the over to the other bowler. There was some confusion. I didn't understand what the captain asked me. I was of the opinion that he's asking me whether i want to bowl the first over or the second. He gave the over to the second bowler and sent me to fine leg. The second over came and he gave the over to a spinner. I was pretty shocked at this because i was warming up at fine leg. And then third over, then fourth... In the 17th over the captain gave me the bowl when the score was already over 200. I bowled three dot deliveries upfront and conceded a six of an edge on the fourth ball. A single on the fifth ball and a wicket on the last ball of the over. It was a catch at midon. My first wicket in match.
Then i bowled the 19th over. It went pretty fine but i conceded a six perhaps on 3rd or 4th ball. I was really furios over this six because no one had ever hit me a sex straight. Although it was a slow ball. I wasn't worried about the no ball or the white on the very next ball. I just ran in and shattered the off and middle stump with a yourker. That was perhaps the best delivery so far because i bowled with a feel.
Although i bowled just 2 overs but it was really satisfying because now i know that i can just concentrate on pace without worring about no ball.
The monsoon season started after that and i didn't went to club for 2 weeks after that.
